Min y Mor Bach is ideally situated to make the most of the local area and the fantastic opportunities presented in this beautiful part of the country.

WALKING. Min y Mor Bach is virtually on the  Pembrokeshire Coast Path, providing miles of magnificent walking with a dedicated bus service for return to Newport from many points. Newport also nestles below the Preseli Mountains and is in the National park where you can ramble for miles surrounded by natural vistas that take your breath away. GOLF. Newport Links  golf course is 2 miles away, a truly enjoyable, testing links. Recently extended to an 18 hole course further enhancing its appeal and adding to the experience. Almost every tee and green have fantastic sea and or mountain views. More details are available on their web site here

ANGLING. The River Nevern is a well known river for sewin (sea trout) and salmon. Day tickets are available from The Post Office to fish The Nevern Fishing Association waters which stretch to several miles of fishing.

BOATING. The boat club is a 3 minute walk away!  See www.newportboatclub.co.uk . Visitors’ moorings are usually available at £20 per week from The Newport and Nevern Mooring Association, and there are three launching slipways on the Parrog with free parking.

WINDSURFING & KITESURFING. The estuary provides a super beginners area for those learning to windsurf at high tide, Newport beach is suited to improvers in both sports and faces North West, nearby beaches such as Newgale can offer world class conditions for experts.

TENNIS. A public hard court is within a short stroll and can be booked at £5 per hour.

BIRDWATCHING. Enthusiasts will be absorbed for hours on the estuary with waders, raptors, ducks, geese, gulls, terns, cormorants, herons, kingfishers with the occasional rarity or two, and the occasional otter. More information HERE

PAINTING. A short walk from the cottage will lead the artist to a wealth of beautiful land, and seascapes. With insparation at every turn in all seasons.

CYCLING. There are some stunning views to be gazed upon if you feel inclined to head up into the Preseli mountains and many quiet back country lanes winding their way through the hills.
